switching from multiexpanded menus to single expanded menus confuses mozilla

go to view/character coding/more.
move mouse off right side off the menus, then up to 'toolbars'
menus get jerked around, flash, and randomly eaither 'view' or 'toolbars' ends
up with 'focus'.
I think this is the same underlying problem as bug 28477, but filing seperatly
since 28477 is caused by keyboard actions, and this is all mouse, and i'd like
to make sure both are confirmed as working once the fix is in.

The bug this has been duped against is now FIXED, and I just tested this in
Linux build 2000103121. Everything looks OK now, with keyboard or mouse.
Verified dupe.
