Adjust summary for clarity.
Summary: Message forward as should allow single e-mail option → Forward multiple selected messages as a single e-mail
I some way, it's the same as forward as attachment. However, their content cannot be modified afterwards this way. This option would allow to create a new mail with the contents of all the forwarded e-mails.
OS: Linux → All
Hardware: x86 → All
Summary: Forward multiple selected messages as a single e-mail → Forward inline of multiple selected messages as a single e-mail
I want to second this. Fixing bug #220646 caused major headaches for installations that block .eml attachments (as is the case within the DoD.) Setting inline forwarding was a sufficient fix for single messages, but multiples are always sent as attachments, and are therefore stripped by servers filtering .eml files, irrespective of the user's preference for inline attachments.
Is there anyone still caring about this? Still really difficult to forward discussion threads with Thunderbird 38.
