I have several different accounts setup and I would like to see a feature added that allows you to A)copy the Message Filters from one account to some or all of your other accounts or B)allows you to select which accounts a particular Filter should be applied to. Right now I have to recreate each filter over and over again for each account.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:

2.
3.

Expected Results:
Perhaps a feature when creating/editing Message Filters that allows you to select which Account that filter should apply to (maybe it auto-copies the filters?) - in lieu of having a Filters For: drop-down box on the Message Filters Dialog.

I have found some kind of bypass for this problem which is valid only as long as you can keep the message filter the same for all or for a group of accounts. In that case just update the message filter for one account. Then close Thunderbird and go via your browser to the Maildata part for that account. There you will find a fle called msgFilterRules.dat which you can copy to other account paths.
