From today's firefox meeting, we agreed to:

* build all locales. Afterwards, we can see what locale breaks / fails testing and should therefore be pulled from release
* updates will not be generated. Maybe for beta2, we can come back and generate updates to bring forward alpha users and beta1 users?

Dont forget to enable branding in this build. Beta should have the right branding.

Build config bump [checked in]

This patch switches to official branding, bumps the build tag (based on what we've done historically) and the milestone. These files are on the release branch.

Sorry for any confusion here. These build config files are branched differently from the main app code, so I mean that the release version of the tinderbox configs are on the branch "release", just as the there is a l10n_release for the equivalent l10n release configs. It's not any statement about the existence of a branch for the app code.

The consensus on IRC, including Ted and Benjamin was that Windows requires
WIN32_MODULE_PRODUCTVERSION=3,0,0,0

Otherwise fine.

Bump nightlies to 3.0b2pre, with changes to dependent systems [checked in]

This patch has three parts
* first three files are the actual app changes
* next two are the bl-* perf tinderbox configs
* last two are the nagios stale-file-monitoring configs

l10n_release configs, based on branched nightly configs [checked in]

There's a couple of things going on here:
* updating parameters for the 3.0b1 release, and switching from nightly to release locations
* adding CONFIG lines for the trunk automation that bhearsum is working on

I can separate those out if it would be helpful.

Going to close this, since the release is done and dusted. Whether we do free software builds or not is bug 404464.
