Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8.1.9) Gecko/20071025 Firefox/2.0.0.9 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8.1.9) Gecko/20071025 Firefox/2.0.0.9 My bookmarks toolbar folder is empty and useless. In Organize Bookmarks, the delete button for it is greyed out. If I delete it from the bookmarks.html file, it comes back. The bookmarks toolbar is, likewise, empty, yet still wasting valuable screen space. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to Bookmarks/Organize Bookmarks 2. Try to delete Bookmarks Toolbar Folder Actual Results: It won't go away. Expected Results: It should go away. Nothing should be forcing us to have space-wasters. Added functionality should be optional, not forced upon users.
Just to make myself clear, I'm not referring to the toolbar itself, which can be easily set not to display. I'm referring to the toolbar entry sitting at the top of Bookmarks. It seems to stay there no matter what. Even if it is not being used, not being displayed and empty, the entry under Bookmarks still won't go away. Being at the top, it moves everything else down and reduces the number of useful elements which can fit on the screen.
