Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to some site using navigation bar text box. 2. Hide the navigation bar. 3. Go to some site using Open Location... text box. Actual Results: The text box has different location than navigation bar one. Expected Results: They should be the same.

yeah, location bar is using queries to get better results from places, while the Open Location dialog is probably remembering last open locations from there...

I see; they *do* share history, but the Open Location dialog isn't pre-populated with the current location. Morphing bug. Not a blocker, though.

Not sure we really want to do this. Nominating to be marked as WONTFIX.
Whiteboard: wontfix?
So users can hide the address bar and use <Ctrl> + L instead, saving space.
Bug 287329 looks to fix this along with some other issues with that dialog.
