Canon Pixma MP830 printer. Printed monthly grid calendars are now black and white only. Previous Sunbird version printed events in proper color for category. Can't find preference switch to turn on, if turn off by new version.
FWIW, list format print also only is black and white.

Have you enabled menu File -> Page Setup -> Format & Options -> Print background (colors & images)?

Yes. I get light blue shaded boxes around activity, but no colored frame according to activity color coding. Also get gray shaded days for previous and next month.

*** Design Opinion *** I'd be happy to see the time & event text displayed/printed in the category color with no shaded box, no frame, etc. for ease of reading, understanding, clarity.

In monthly grid format color is just used for events (which works as expected). Adding categories to the print output is bug 428022. Please, adhere to the "one issue per bug report" rule next time. -> Resolving INVALID
