Firefox doesn't asks for confirmation when closing a windows with multiple tabs. This only happens when running Firefox in a non-admin account, when running Firefox in an admin account, Firefox asks like normal. I've checked the setting for asking about warning dialog on closing.
I'm running Firefox 3 Beta 1 in Vista Home Basic.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Log on to a non-admin Vista account
2. Open several tabs in a window
3. Close the window
Actual Results:
Firefox closes without confirmation box
Expected Results:
Firefox closes with a confirmation box

Lie, do you see this problem with newer version?
Yes. Version 3.5.3 still have the bug.
The option at "Options > Tabs > Warn me when closing multiple tabs" does not affect the warning on a regular account.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090824 Firefox/3.5.3 (.NET CLR 3.0.30618)
Addons: Adblock Plus, FireTorrent, GreaseMonkey (disabled), Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant, Modify Headers (disabled), NoScript, TestPilot, TinyMenu, TooManyTabs.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a8pre) Gecko/2007091904 Minefield/3.0a8pre
Unable to reproduce. When closing multiple tabs, it asks for confirmation.

Hm. Never noticed this bug was assigned to me since it was unconfirmed.
Is browser.warnOnQuit (in about:config) set to false?
This happens if you get the "Do you want Firefox to save your tabs for the next time it starts?" dialog, and check "Do not ask next time".
When there is only one firefox window open and you close it, it will bypass the tab confirmation dialog (the "Options > Tabs > Warn me when closing multiple tabs" option) and use the quit dialog. If the quit dialog is disabled, Firefox will then exit despite the multiple tabs close warning being enabled. This is a bug.

I think, the Vista and LUA bit may be a false lead, perhaps it's just a difference on how my Admin account and day-to-day account is configured, and I'm currently on Linux and the warning box doesn't appear (I use a shared config profile between my Windows and Linux Firefox, though when I first noticed this I'm sure I hadn't setup profile sharing yet).
I can confirm that if I create a fresh profile the warning box do show up. Also on a fresh profile, the warning box didn't show up whatever the value of "browser.warnOnQuit" and "browser.tabs.warnOnClose" after I checked the "Do not ask next time" as directed by Michael Wu.

Duping to bug 384907. As far as I know, Vista/LUA shouldn't affect anything, but if you're able to reproduce this again with clean profiles, please reopen.
