When we open file from Microsoft share point it downloads the file to temporary document and then opens it. As stated in bug report "Bug 400418".
It should directly open the file from share point and also save it.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open a file doc or excel file from Microsoft share point
2.

Actual Results:  
According to firefox setting it will ask to save it or open it.
If open option is clicked then it saves the file to temporary folder and opens from there.

Expected Results:  
Should open file directly from share point, and when shave should save it to share point.

As you said in this bug, this is basically bug 400418. Please don't file new bugs for existing issues.
