I used nightly builds of SeaMonkey 1.5a just for this feature - scrolling the mouse wheel on the tab bar worked just like in any other GTK+ application (it switched the active tab). No other new features was of any interest to me, really :)

I don't know if it's a regression introduced by some changes in the code (for example, related to xulrunner), or some build-time option. I noticed that the builds marked "installer", which I used, are gone now, so it's possible that now I'm getting a build using some other options. In either case, I'd really like the mouse wheel working again (especially since Ctrl-PgUp stopped working at the same time, bug #290177).

This bug is related to bug #281192, but that one is for Firefox, and besides, in SeaMonkey trunk it was working for a long time, so here it's a regression report, not a feature request :)

Reading your report I can confirm this for Windows-Builds too, currently using yesterdays Win32-zip Build 2007121202.

Scrolling through the open Tabs with Mousewheel has worked fine with the XPFE-SeaMonkey 1.5-Trunk-Nightlies, but won't work with new Toolkit-Builds. 

Think this was related to Bug 382795 too.
