Steps to reproduce:
1. Have a session.
2. Quit with "Save and quit".
3. Start the profile in safe mode.
4. Choose "Disable all add-ons" and "Make changes and restart".

Actual result: Session is gone

Expected result: Session still exists.

In case bug 448974 doesn't get fixed (in time), this work-around fixes the issue as reported.
