User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b2) Gecko/2007121120 Firefox/3.0b2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b2) Gecko/2007121120 Firefox/3.0b2 I think this might be related to bug 271891 but not quite the same. If I open the Places Organizer in Firefox 3 beta 2 and I try to organize my bookmarks by dragging them into/onto folders in the top pane, it just gets put above or below the folder I wanted to put it in. The window doesn't let me drag bookmarks into the left pane, which is a list of all the bookmark folders. This is somewhat frustrating. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Add a bookmark 2. Open the places organizer 3. Try to drag new bookmark into any folder Actual Results: The window doesn't let you drag the bookmark into the folder. You need to either do it on the personal bookmarks toolbar or the bookmarks menu. Expected Results: I should be able to organize my bookmarks in the Places Organizer as well. I am using the default theme.

Sorry. I was searching under bookmarks. I didn't realize there was a Places category.

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h". In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows: Tools | Message Filters Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New" Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h Change the action to "Delete Message". Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top. Click OK. Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter. Gerv
