2/ click on "watch the demo -see safari in action" in the bottom of the left menu

expected result: video plays
actual result: firefox crashes
reproducible: always, with a fresh profile and no addon

Works in Firefox 2

works for me in Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.2; en-US; rv:1.9b3pre) Gecko/2008011504 Minefield/3.0b3pre ID:2008011504 with QuickTime Plug-in 7.3.1

do you use maybe a old quicktime version. ?

Matthias, breakpad does not seem to work or activate on linux or it is not built in tar.gz builds. if you know how to activate it I will be happy to test it again.

carsten, I am on Linux, quicktime videos are played by Totem , here is the about:plugins details:
QuickTime Plug-in 7.2.0

    Nom de fichier : /usr/lib/totem/libtotem-narrowspace-plugin.so
    The Totem 2.20.0 plugin handles video and audio streams.

Now, the crash only happens on this page but I see that your build is 1 week newer, I'll try with today's nightly tonight.

Isn't it bug in totem's plugin?
I think that totem's plugins doesn't use X-Embed.

Flash probably does.
