User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; fr; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20071204 Ubuntu/7.10 (gutsy) Firefox/2.0.0.11 Build Identifier: 0.7 when using clipboard to copy some text from Gnucash under Linux, the text stored in the clipboard will be erased if I close Gnucash. A lot of programs does have that bug right now and this is due to a recent change in the Freedesktop Clipboard Manager specification which you can find here : http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/ClipboardManager This bug is also found in Firefox and Thunderbird https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=311340 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=221183 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Sunbird and copy some text from sunbird ( the description of a task, for example ) 2. Paste this text in a text editor, it works 3. Close sunbird, and try to paste the text in a text editor again Actual Results: Nothing is pasted. Expected Results: The clipboard should still contain the copied text and paste should be successful. Linux Ubuntu 7.10 sunbird 0.7
Duplicate of bug 311340 which should implement this for all Mozilla platform products?
If bug 311340 is for all mozilla products, of course I think that it should be marked as a duplicate. Also the Thunderbird one.
