I'll have an attachment that illustrates these glitches.

 * Location bar can slide left of favicon area
 * drop shadow in location bar is different from search box (look at the top)
 * right curve finish is different on location bar and search box
 * bottom of location bar / search box is a different bevel
 * when no bookmarks bar is present, tab is discontinuous with background
 * tab dropshadow is interrupted underneath (x) buttons
 * text is visible through border line near scrollbar

it looks like many of these were fixed (I had filed several of them independently)

FIXED * Location bar can slide left of favicon area  
FIXED * drop shadow in location bar is different from search box (look at the top)
FIXED * right curve finish is different on location bar and search box
FIXED * bottom of location bar / search box is a different bevel
Not Fixed * when no bookmarks bar is present, tab is discontinuous with background
Not Fixed * tab dropshadow is interrupted underneath (x) buttons
FIXED (I think. Don't see that black border at all) * text is visible through border line near scrollbar

Should I re-file the two not fixed bugs as standalone issues?

Actually, I think that "* tab dropshadow is interrupted underneath (x) buttons
" is actually related to or the same as bug 418484.  I swear I also saw the color mismatch on bookmark toolbar hide reported but cannot find it now. Perhaps that was just a blog comment or something.

that other one is bug 423043

I think we can resolve this as duplicates of various other fixed and about to be fixed bugs. picking bug 423043 since it's in hand.
