I threw up some ideas in a related bug, Bug 450342.
Long usernames tend not to be very useful either. Maybe the solution here is to limit characters?

Paul, just fyi common-issue+ is for the QA and Firefox development team and is used for issues that are commonly reported by users of Firefox. Noticed that it was erroneously set in this bug.
