So when you right click on the Junk folder you should have the option to empty the folder, just like you have on the Trash folder.

I have to manually delete all the messages in the Junk folder now!!


The spam in the Junk folder should be deleted or purged when I right click on it and select "Empty Junk Folder".

That's great news!!

By the way I did use the bugzilla search function repeatedly before posting this but Bug 189911 never turned up. Possibly because it's RESOLVED FIXED and also because it's logged under "Core" instead of "Thunderbird". No wonder this is the most duplicated feature request ever...
