41409 - XPFE File chooser defaults to / directory rather than $HOME

in Linux, if you choose File->Open File, you get a nifty XPFE file open dialog.
However, it's default directory is /, rather than the more appropriate $HOME


Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Choose File->Open File. Note the default directory.

Actual Results:  The default directory is the root of the directory tree.

Expected Results:  It should default to the users home directory, at least on
UNIX and Windows NT systems when that information is available.

I have this same problem on build 2000060208 in Linux.  I am switching this bug

Some additional comments:

The following defaults to root:

  - Import/Export bookmarks in bookmark manager
  - Open file
  - Print->Choose file
  - Prefs -> Navigator -> choose home page
  - Prefs -> Composer -> New Page Settings -> choose default background image
  - Prefs -> Advanced -> Cache -> Choose disk cache folder

The following defaults to home directory:

  - Save page as...

These are all the ones that I can find from the browser alone (haven't checked
composer, mail/news, etc).  I probably missed a bunch.
