User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9b2) Gecko/2007121016 Firefox/3.0b2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9b2) Gecko/2007121016 Firefox/3.0b2 The "View Saved Passwords" button and its frame in of the Page info dialog are quite big. For many web sites, they hide the "Yes" or "No" in the previous column. This is confusing to the user: Why is there no information provided (when in fact, it is there, just hidden)? In the attached screenshot, you see that half of the "N" of "No" is visible, half is chopped off. Note: The "owner" information section is truncated as well! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open the Page Info for any page (e.g. http://jquery.com/). 2. If the problem doesn't appear in your screen resolution, re-size the Page info window (make it narrow). 3. Observe that the "View Saved Passwords" button slides over the middle column "No" and hides it. Also, observe that the Owner information "This web site does not supply identity information." is truncated. 4. By contrast, observe that the "View Cookies" button does not slide over the second column. Also observe, that some lines fold --- this might be a good idea for the Web site/owner and verified table. Actual Results: The "View Saved Passwords" button slides over the second column and hides it. Information in the first table (Web site/owner/verified by) does not fold but is truncated. Expected Results: Like the "View Cookies" button, the "View Saved Passwords" button should stay in its column and get truncated at the right hand side if the window gets too small. Like the first column of the Privacy and History table, the entries in the second column of the "Web site Identy" table should fold before being truncated. I uploaded a screenshot of the problem here: http://www.yaakovnet.net/Firefox-bug1.png I try to attach it as a file to this bug report (if possible).

Johnath: maybe use the show passwords label from the passwords preference pane? Also, I wonder if that label needs its ellipsis.

Not blocking, doesn't occur by default, there's a lot of issues if you make various dialogs too small (need to fix the core window min-size bug to let us clamp at a minimum width).
