There is this nice "Memo" mode in Outlook which are used by many people to store small notes about important things (the typical post-it story). It can be synchronized with different mobile devices there and are standard in Outlook. In my humble opinion, this feature should be implemented.

This would allow Calendar to conquer even more Outlook users by giving this other functionality as well.
