According to the docs @ http://wiki.mozilla.org/Update:Remora_API_Docs You can make requests such as: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/api/list or https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/api/list/recommended/extension/4 and retrieve the randomized entries from the AMO recommended list. What is coming back is not from the Reco list. See the list @ https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/recommended
