When the Home button is on the bookmarks toolbar, it looks just like a regular bookmark that is on the bookmarks toolbar.
So I think it should at least be possible to delete it in a way that is similar to a regular bookmark.
Currently, to remove the Home button, you need to use the "Customize.." option, which is completely unintuitive, since I think normal users would think the Home button is a normal bookmark (since it looks like a normal bookmark).

I suggest that if this is implemented, it would be better to "hide" the Home button/bookmark so that a "reset" can restore it rather than "delete" it and it is gone "forever."

This does not block the final release of Firefox 3.

I think just adding "Remove" would work ... not blocking right now since we might be moving it back.

You can right click the button and click "remove from toolbar", much like you can right click a bookmark and click "Delete", so I think WFM is actually an accurate resolution for this bug (though it should have come with an explanation).
