In a 2007-02-12 nightly, this testcase can cause bad stuff to happen, such as "Deallocation of a pointer not malloced". In a 2007-02-26 nightly, it causes a controlled null deref thanks to nsObjCExceptionLogAbort. This suggests that the fix for bug 417558 made this bug both easier to detect and have less dire consequences :) It's still a crash, though.

Before the crash, even in a nightly, I see:
