Ever since qm-winxp01 went awol and moved off the Firefox tree, there's only been a single unit test box which is prone to a few expected failures, and blocks checkins, etc, until it magically goes green again. Currently the tree is being held closed waiting for such a situation to clear, (on the night of the freeze.) It would be nice to have an additional windows test box again (whether its qm-winxp01 fixed or an additional new box, doesn't matter to me.)
Version: unspecified → Trunk
Summary: Need qm-winxp01 or additional windows unit test box → Need qm-winxp01 back or additional windows unit test box
The alternate solution is to have fewer "expected random failures" ;)
until someone fixes our random build failures on windows, that's not likely to happen. We are planning on bringing up 2 more windows unittest boxes like win2k3-01 which will help. We're currently waiting on some downtime to clone qm-win2k3-01. ETA, approximately 1 week.

Cloning failed so I'm setting these up by hand right now.

A new Win 2k3 machine, qm-stage-win2k3-01, is now reporting to MozillaTest. This is not a clone of qm-win2k3-01, sadly, but it does mirror the machines configuration as closely as possible. I should get two more Win2k3 machines should be up tomorrow -- qm-win2k3-02 and qm-win2k3-03 -- which will give us 3 total (not counting staging) and allow for informal result voting.
The other two Win2k3 machines are now running and reporting to the MozillaTest tree. We'll move them over to the Firefox tree at the same time as the PGO slave (bug 420073) to minimize downtime.
Summary: Need qm-winxp01 back or additional windows unit test box → Triadic unit test coverage for Win2k3

We're down to a single failing test in browser chrome that is keeping these from going green. I'm investigating the failure now. Log snippet: chrome://mochikit/content/browser/toolkit/mozapps/downloads/tests/browser/browser_bug_406857.js PASS - Got referrer on download PASS - Got referrer on finish FAIL - Timed out - chrome://mochikit/content/browser/toolkit/mozapps/downloads/tests/browser/browser_bug_406857.js
Adding myself to CC as I'm seeing the same issue on the win2k3 PGO boxes.
Boxes are green now after some testcase improvements by mardak in bug 406857. Need an outage window now to move them to the main tree.
Add machines to schedulers this time.

Comment on attachment 315117 [details] [diff] [review] Add triadic coverage for Win2k3 on trunk, and turn back on mochichrome testing (take 2) the extra commented out bits at the end for the firefux_trunk_winxp_debug_builder doesn't belong here, but otherwise, it looks good.

This will be landing at 10am PDT today during the outage window originally intended for PGO.
Green in production.
