User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686 (x86_64); en-US; rv:1.9b3) Gecko/2008020513 Firefox/3.0b3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686 (x86_64); en-US; rv:1.9b3) Gecko/2008020513 Firefox/3.0b3 When deleting bookmarks (either by right-clicking on the drop-down from the Bookmarks menu item or from "organize" in the "show all bookmarks" dialogue, there is no confirmation dialogue before the bookmark is deleted. There is also no "undo" option, so when "delete" is accidentally hit instead of another menu option, the bookmark is lost forever. Clearly this is not a good thing. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Select Bookmarks -> Show all Bookmarks 2. Select a bookmark 3. Select Organize -> Delete Actual Results: Bookmark deleted immediately. No way to recover it if this was not the intended action (as was the case when I was trying to move one; an adjacent menu option Expected Results: Should either prompt for confirmation of deletion or at least have some way of recovering an accidentally deleted bookmark.
I don't think places changes anything, this is still a dupe of a wontfix.
