User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.12) Gecko/20080201 Firefox/2.0.0.12
Build Identifier: version 2.0.0.12 (20080213)

When there is a problem logging into the mail account the program deletes the account password from the saved password list without first confirming the delete with the user. The program should not assume that the login information was incorrect and delete it.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Check mail when connection to the server is unavailable.
2.
3.
Actual Results:
When you try to check mail again you are requested to reenter your password.

Expected Results:
Provide the notification that the login was unsuccessful and let the user determine the cause of the problem. It should never delete information without a confirmation from the user.

In my case the email server was down which had nothing to do with the accuracy of the login information the was stored on my computer.
Summary: Password Deletion → Password Deleted after connection failure (given password should still be prefilled)
