Doesn't make much sense to include the space, and I don't think a people use it anyway.

It's a good idea. Automatic selection of space after word is very annoying. I'm happy that I can disable it by an option. I think it have to be disabled by default.
this should be easy to fix but there should be a voting beforehand whether most of the users/devs agree with this
