From bug 419920 comment 3: Going to a page like https://preview.addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/browse/type:4/cat:80?sort=name has 2 add-ons on it, both have new versions in the sandbox. If you mouse over the "Add to Firefox" button for BBC News you'll see it wants to install a .xml file. If you go to the BBC News detail page and mouse over the "Add to Firefox" button you'll see it wants to install a .src file.

MySQL will hate us for asking "show me all add-ons, even experimental ones with experimental files but if the add-on is public show me the last version only that contains public files, even if there exists a newer version that is experimental" ;)
Ah, wasn't too bad; I am just pulling the latest public version for public add-ons now, and for experimental ones I fetch a public or sandboxed version, whatever is newest. r11423.
