Can't read mail after removing localstore.rdf

My browser window was coming up the wrong size this morning, and wouldn't
remember resizes, so I moved localstore.rdf aside (I have the old one if it
might be useful) and ran again starting with no localstore.rdf.
Now the browser remembers resizes again, but the mail window has all the servers
collapsed and no amount of clicking on the expander or double-clicking on the
server line seems to open up the server so that I can read mail.

backing out some xul fixes the twisties problems (see putterman's checkins this
morning). removing blocker status, as i'm redelivering with his backout... this
should go away with those changes... akk can you repull and test?
