Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; cs-CZ; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20071008 Ubuntu/7.10 (gutsy) Firefox/2.0.0.6 Build Identifier: 2.0.0.6 Thunderbird should integrate SyncML server. This would be the most easy and the most clean way to enable synchronization with (not only) cell phones. This way it would be easy to create e.g. opensync plugin (by modifing existing sycml plugins) which would comunicate with Thunderbird SyncML server (this way external synchronization tools only have to know about syncml - thunderbird data structure is not important). Addressbook, calendar and tasklist data could be easily transfered from / to thunderbird. To synchronize data between thunderbird and cell phone several components would be used: 1. Thunderbird SyncML server 2. new OpenSync "SyncML Thunderbird" plugin 3. existing OpenSync "SyncML over Obex" plugin (or any other existing opensync could be used) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
