What does this mean? Which context?
What do you expect it should do?
Please elaborate on your description, we can't read your mind (yet)...

As a wild guess:
1. Tag a message both Important and Later (yeah, sue me, I don't get to everything).
2. Use either View or a saved search to see the messages tagged Later
3. Notice that the one you tagged both ways looks like Important rather than Later.
