Here is the "Organic" to be localized in all languages we ship for Firefox 3.

Don't forget to save it as UTF8 and attach it as "plain text (text/plain)" to this bug.

Note that this page is currently not available on the current svn trunk that most localizers have access to (ping me on IRC/email if you don't and need it) because it has not been merged yet from the branch where the web team is preparing the new site for the Firefox 3 release.

This page uses a metaphor ("100% Organic") that may well sound strange for people outside of the US, if you think that the organic metaphor is unclear for your language, change it by 'Public Interest Software'

If you choose to opt for "Public Interest Software", change the two first lines of the text with this wording:

"Public interest software?

As software companies go, we’re a little unusual. In various ways we’re 
different from the other guys:
Our most well-known product, Firefox, is created by"...

Outside of this paragraph, organic is mentioned twice in the page, in the right side menu and in the last paragraph.

If you choose to use "Public Interest" instead of "Organic", please mention it in the comments when you attach your translation.

It looks like there's a campaign (or at least plans for one) based on the "organic" theme. Could somebody confirm that officially? The images on the page do not fit in very well with the "public interest" theme anyway so i might as well change the translation to "organic"

We have an ongoing campaign around the term "100% organic software", yes. We're leaving up to each localizer to determine if that phrase is appropriate for their locale, but if you think it works for yours that's great.

Fernando, it would really help if you were not changing these files in parallel via SVN... In product pages should no longer be modified except by me as we have already QAed them for the release. 

This bug is now closed. Any change to the page now needs opening a new bug giving the rationale for the change and a patch.

Will the last attached file be validated? It has some changes needed to make the page consistent with other in-product pages language.
