Dowloading new mail results in long delay (about 15 seconds) before message appears.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Get new mail
2.Status bar indicates 'downloading mail'
3.Wait 
Actual Results:  
No new mail notification for some time with high hd activity noted.

Expected Results:  
No delay.

This was noted directly after the checkin for bug 418551.

Works fine.

If this is an indication of sqlite performance, maybe we should have second thoughts.

Clarification of symptoms:
The delay getting new mail occurs only once per session. 
Subsequent mails download normally.

The bad news is that the delay happens for every new session, and possibly for each mail account (not sure about each account's behavior yet)

Fixed by backout of bug 418551
