Virtual folders can be added to a tab, but when you switch away and back again the tab does not change.

Steps to reproduce:

1) Create a virtual folder from a search
2) Display a normal inbox.
3) Right-click the virtual folder, select Open in New Tab
4) Click on the Inbox tab
5) Click on the virtual folder tab

Expected results: virtual folder tree is displayed
Actual results: Inbox remains displayed in the tab

It works for me in Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9pre) Gecko/2008040204 Thunderbird/3.0a1pre

I'm not sure why I didn't notice this earlier, but when I attempt to switch to the tab with the virtual folder, I get the following error in the error console:

Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... I can produce a similar error message by changing the folder view from All Folders to some view that does not contain the folder that is in the tab (perhaps Favorite Folders or Unread Folders).  But that has nothing to do with virtual folders.

I get that exception on linux too. But like Rod, not for virtual folders, only for Favorite folders.

OK I think you guys are right, it is associated with using favorite folders, not virtual folders. Is there a bug already defined for that to dup, or can I revise this one for that problem?
