Hi Pontus, thanks for your interest in localizing AMO. It looks like you probably have, but just in case, please read http://wiki.mozilla.org/Update:Localizers. I'm CCing Mikael Hedberg, the current browser owner, for approval on this bug.
I want to assist translation to swedish. I live in Sweden, so it's no problem for me.
Hasse, can you approve this or get in touch with Mikael?

AFAIK, Sandlåda is a pretty standard translation for sandbox. It looks like Swedish is identified as sv-SE in our shared library. Is this localization more appropriate as sv or sv-SE - either is fine, I just want to clarify.

We've decided to use sv-SE as the locale for the current translations of Firefox/Thunderbird/SeaMonkey et al. Not sure how much it matters for AMO, though.

Without knowing anything about it, I assume it's better to use the same locale. (Particularly, I'm thinking it might matter for the Get extension tab, or whatever it's called in English, of the Extensions dialog.)

Hrrm, http://addons.stage.mozilla.com/sv/firefox/ still doesn't work for me - I get a redirect to http://addons.stage.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/. (Neither does http://addons.stage.mozilla.com/sv-SE/firefox/, but from http://svn.mozilla.org/addons/trunk/site/app/config/language.inc.php I guess /sv/ should work.) Should everything be checked in again under sv-SE or what needs to be done?

Thanks. I still can't find the localizer tools when logged in to AMO though, can someone verify pont_umo@soua.net has the correct status? There's also some things I'd like to fix, but I guess it's easiest for everybody to get bug 437027 resolved rather than attaching changed versions of the files to this bug. (Also, right now, <http://addons.stage.mozilla.com/sv-SE/firefox/users/edit> shows things like "header_navlink_myaccount", which it didn't before.
Your account is added in AMO
As it seems svn access for me might take a while, I'd be happy if anyone could update svn.mozilla.org/addons/trunk/site/app/locale/sv_SE/LC_MESSAGES/messages.po with this file and recompile the .mo file. (And I'd be even happier if anyone could give a little love to bug 437027.)

A belated thanks. I'm now quite content with the translation, but need some clues to understand why <https://preview.addons.mozilla.org/sv-SE/firefox/> contains text like addons_home_feature_head (and "search for add-ons" or "within", which seems equally weird to me). Is there some problem with the mo-file? $ msgfmt -V says msgfmt (GNU gettext-tools) 0.17.
That's not the fault of your file - it's the server's fault and hopefully should fix itself... mmhmm.
Ok, as it still has those issues, it doesn't seem like it's going to fix itself. Any ideas what's wrong?
Hi Pontus - sorry for the delay on this. The patch in bug 451114 fixes this on my dev copy (that patch is targeted to go live this thursday). If that doesn't fix it I'll file an IT bug to have server ops figure it out.
Looks good on preview now: https://preview.addons.mozilla.org/sv-SE/firefox/ Production should be fixed when we push this Thursday.
Thanks. As far as I'm concerned, sv-SE is good enough to be included in the list of languages that can be chosen from the language menu.
