429568 - Arrow left and right don't move cursor in text field of Chatzilla

Within the last days there have been made changes to the key handing. I'm not able to move the cursor to the left or the right anymore.

Steps:
1. Open Chatzilla
2. Enter some text which should be sent
3. Try to move the cursor by using the arrow keys (left or right)

The cursor doesn't move to the left or right. There is no reaction. Masayuki, could this be a regression from one of your latest changes? I filed it under Chatzilla until it's clear if it better fits to core/keyboard handling.

I'm not sure. I only changed the keypress event. not keydown event.

left/right arrow should be handled by keydown events...

Can we confirm if this is affecting other apps?  If we find it is, then we should block.  Otherwise, we can fix this in a dot release.  If this is indeed a result of the other key event handling bugs, those are already blockers anyway.  Make sure that this bug is added as a dependency on those if that's the case.
