Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.9pre) Gecko/2008042906 Minefield/3.0pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.9pre) Gecko/2008042906 Minefield/3.0pre In FF 2.0.0.12 on W2K, if you drag and drop an HTML A element from the rendered page, onto the Bookmark Toolbar, a bookmark is added to the toolbar. This behaviour does not work in current beta 2008042906. No bookmark is created after the drop happens. Although a place marker is displayed suggesting where the drop will happen before you drop the link, which is removed when the drop happens. There are a large number of other bugs relating to drag and drop within the Bookmark organizing tool itself filed in Bugzilla (428411 414200), this may be a duplicate of those without being familiar with the code it is hard to say. However it is clearly a case that needs testing when those bugs are fixed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Visit any page with simple link 2. Drag link to Bookmark toolbar 3. Drop link where desired Actual Results: No bookmark is made Expected Results: Bookmark should be made using anchor text for label
