User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; de; rv:1.8.1.14) Gecko/20080404 Firefox/2.0.0.14 Build Identifier: Version 2.0.0.12 (20080213) don't know if it's a bug - i think it would be better to group the mails by date oriented to the real calendar like in outlook Example: Thunderbird shows me a mail received today(Wednesday) under the line "today", a mail received yesterday under "yesterday" but a mail received on monday under "last week". It would be also nice to see the day-Name next to the date... Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.sort by date 2.group by sort 3. Actual Results: mails are grouped by date relative to today Expected Results: i think it should group the mails by date oriented to the real calendar like in outlook
I just changed -general to front end, as this is rather UI issue -os to all, as this is generally available -severity to enhancement, as this works, but it could be better .. if you don't agree on some, change back. I'd say especially to consider: I see the point and possible confusion related to this relative dates "last week relative to today" vs "last week as in calendars". And I agree with it. (thus specified in the description the "week" issue, as that is the very point..) Well, that precise idea is already in bug 315114
