Please let me know if the problem is on my side, or if it is a bug.
Opening a new window isn't the same as opening a new instance. You need to use the -no-remote command line flag to open a new instance.

I did't want to use 'instance' as a programming specific word. You are right, but I guess the problem I wanted to report exists.
Works for me, Firefox 2.0.0.14 on Windows XPSP2. Is this bug about an early Firefox 3.0 beta?
