Thunderbird appears to only check for new emails in an IMAP Inbox. It doesn't check to see if new emails have appeared in other IMAP folders.
Some accounts, such as Googlemail, allow you to filter emails into different folders on the server. Therefore, when checking for new messages, Thunderbird only tells me if I have new mail in my Inbox. I have to click on other folders to find out if I have new mail in those folders.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Filter messages on Googlemail to move to a folder other than Inbox
2. Check for new messages in Thunderbird
Actual Results:
New messages do not appear.
Expected Results:
All subscribed IMAP folders should be checked for new mail when checking for new messages in general.
This has only been checked with Googlemail.
