Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0 just downloaded 2 files from mozilla ftp servers ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/nightly/latest-mozilla-central/ i didnt noticed anything strange WFM
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; de; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008061004 Firefox/3.0 I've got the same problem, but only with ftp links included in HTML Code. Sadly it is not conclusively reproducable, so I can't give a good example..
A description of this same problem is in my commentary on bug #445791 - for me this happens every time a FTP server isn't accessible at the first try.
Seems to be duplicate of bug #406787 or combination of bug #406787 and bug #427089. Please retest with latest version.
