I have tried doing it in the Organize Favorites dialog box as well, same result. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Expand bookmarks menu 2. Right click on bookmark menu. 3. Select "sort by name". Actual Results: bookmarks are not sorted by name. Expected Results: Bookmarks and folders should be sorted by name.

In my case the "sort by name" is NOT greyed-out as in bug report 400447

I know. It is absent in the menu, at least in the latest nightly build. It was decided to remove it in bug 400447 and actually removed per Bug 412682 on 20 April 2008. All "complaints" about that decision are duped to bug 400447.
