FF3 replaces favicons using the website's favicon instead of the ones I have selected. My bookmarks toolbar contains 32 icons on a single line. No text, just icons. Four of these are different Yahoo sites that I previously set with 4 different icons to know which was which. FF3 changed all 4 of them to the same Yahoo icon. It also replaced many other icons in my toolbar with icons that I no longer recognize. Very inconvenient.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Harvest a favicon by bookmarking a webpage that uses a favicon
2.Click on properties of this new bookmark and change the location to another web address.
3.FF3 replaces my chosen favicon with it's own and if there is a problem loading page it will replace the favicon in bookmarks with a yellow warning triangle.
Allow an option for advanced users to shut off FF3's favicon interference. Advanced users don't need this type of security handholding.
