DELetion of 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. eMail-Adress while holding 'Backspace' down will NOT end until ALL entries (above AND BELOW) are DELeted !-(

At minimum expected behaviour (-: DELETiON ends at BOL (Beginn Of Line) :-)

Reproducible: Always
OS: Windows Vista → All
Hardware: PC → All
Summary: DELetion of eMail-Adress while holding 'Backspace' down DELETE's ALL !-( → Deletion of eMail-Address by holding 'Backspace' down may accidentally remove multiple (up to all) entries.
Version: unspecified → Trunk
Some may consider this a useful feature rather than a bug. ;-)

For SeaMonkey, this has been declared intended behavior in bug 367101, which shouldn't imply though that Thunderbird couldn't change it. Personally, I found myself a couple of times trying to delete an address or two (especially with a Reply to All), then holding that button down for too long and running into the previous entry.

On the other hand, there is bug 143147, seeking for a more intuitive way to remove unwanted addresses from the recipient list. While that bug is not explicitly addressing the backspace-key issue here, it may provide a way to delete addresses which makes the backspace-key problem less relevant.
Ron, could you seek a dupe? I and perhaps clarkbw would be cc on the bug where this was discussed.
