The start page templates shouldn't have the contributor the Forum, In-product, and the normal start page.

No, but once bug 442703 is fixed we will remove that module from the homepage, so the issue will become moot.

The admin box still overlaps the "Improve the Knowledge Base" box when logged in, seems to me to be the same bug? If not, point me in the right direction please!

It only shows up for admins, and that's the only box like that set to be on the homepage, so we decided not to care :).
