User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-GB; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008061015 Firefox/3.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-GB; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008061015 Firefox/3.0 If you switch to a tab with a large image in it, the images zoom is increased to (or it seems) the maximum zoom. It might not be the maximum, but it's pretty large. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open an image, http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/0/09/2005rice_(paddy).PNG is a good example 2. Open another tab. 3. Switch to the new tab. 4. Switch back to the old tab - the zoom will be increased. Actual Results: Image is zoomed. Expected Results: Image is not zoomed.
Could not reproduce; zoom did not change using STR. (3.0 on Linux) Maybe an extension's doing? Try Firefox safe mode: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode or possibly a new profile: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Managing+Profiles
After zooming the image in manually and zooming out, it no longer happens. Perhaps it was just a simple glitch, but it seems to have fixed itself.
What method did you use to switch tabs? I'm wondering if you used a keyboard shortcut that tripped up bug 434948 somehow.
