Sometimes, when I click the bookmark menu item in the menu bar there's a new bookmark added with the current site instead of opening the menu. When I again click the bookmarks item in the menu toolbar, the menu opens and everything works fine.
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click the bookmark menu in navigation toolbar
2. occasionally a new bookmark is added.
Actual Results:
misbehaviour of menu
Expected Results:
bookmark menu should open every time.
This happens only sometimes, I was able to reproduce this some times but don't know what causes this kind of annoying bug.

Does bug 442177 provide a solution to your problem? Or Bug 406646?

Checked both bug reports now. The issue is:
It does not only happen when you click on the bookmarks menu item when firefox starts, but also while working. I'd really like to know, what causes this 'problem', think it's very strange. Don't know if it's a dupe of one of these two.
If you need my help: I have GDB installed on my PC...And if you give me specific steps to do when it occurs, I might be able to get some more information about it. But until then...I have really no idea.

exactly the issue should happen if menu is opening slowly (more visible on start, but also later)
