Once QA has verified bug 424187 the performance branch needs to be merged into trunk.

Verified FIXED, since this brought us things on the branch such as the SVN rev #: https://preview.addons.mozilla.org/en-US/admin/serverstatus among the awesome sprite work bkrausz did, which I can easily verify by launching IE 6, loading preview, and balking at its rendering :-) /me has a flair for the dramatic
