User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1
When I try to drag a URL from the URL toolbar into my Bookmarks toolbar,
Firefox pops up a small floating note telling me "This web site does not supply identity information" for most http:// URLs. This popup obscures the bookmarks toolbar which is immediately below the URL toolbar, so I cannot drop the bookmark into folders because they are hidden. It appears that I have to wait 5 seconds before this popup disappears, at which point I can now see the hidden folders in my Bookmarks toolbar. For https sites, the message in the popup tells me about the cert, i.e. "Verified by: Equifax": for https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. open a web site
2. try to drag the URL (using the site favicon that appears immediately to the left of the URL in the URL toolbar) into a folder in your Bookmarks toolbar that is immediately below the icon/url
3. a popup obscures the bookmark folder icon for up to 5 seconds
