User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008071615 Fedora/3.0.1-1.fc9 Firefox/3.0.1
Build Identifier:
Since Thunderbird can handle more than one account, it is not desirable that "Auto Save every ... minutes" is the same for all accounts. It would make more sense to have per account.
I therefore propose it is moved to Edit->"Account Settings"->"Server Settings".
Notice that "Server Settings" it used as head line twice. That doesn't make sense. Naming the last to General would be better.
See mock up.
Reproducible: Always

Why would you like that different per account?? Certainly seems to me like a thing that should "just work". And thus even the main pref UI is questionable although reasonable.

Exactly, why would you want to save account X every 5 mins, and account Y every 7? This does not make sense to move it, and would be a lot of extra work to adjust ALL of your simple settings (auto-save, MIME encoding, etc) to each account. It would take MUCH longer for someone like me who has 15 accounts in TB.
